Acudetox Clinics South Africa was established in 2006. It was established to ensure that all socio economic groups have access to quality addiction detoxification services through access to the NADA protocol (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association).
Projects that offer the protocol exist today in over 40 countries.
The settings in which the NADA model has been integrated include addictions, psychiatric/mental health, prisons, post traumatic stress centres, disaster relief, Native American reservations, refugee settings, pastoral care, humanitarian aid, sickle cell, cancer and HIV/AIDS care, case workers, volunteers, and harm reduction workers.
A simple 5 point protocol perfected over almost 40 years, backed by research & results has brought relief to hundreds of millions of people, suffering with an addiction, mental illness or toxicity related illness.

ABOUT US
Acudetox Clinics South Africa was started by Warren Whitfield in 2006. After travelling to New York to study acupuncture for treating addiction, Warren Whitfield returned to S.A. and became qualified as an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist Trainer in 2010.
He completed his training at Lincoln Memorial Hospital Recovery Centre in South Bronx New York, the original clinic that pioneered the 5 point NADA Acudetox protocol. He brought back Acudetox to South Africa and also trains people who wish to become specialists. Warren is also the C.E.O. The Addiction Action Campaign, a formidable public advocacy group which represents the rights of all South Africans on the issue of addiction and substance abuse, and he is the founder and Chairperson of the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association of South Africa (NADA S.A.)
Warren also founded the formidable Addiction Harm Reduction Compliancy (AHRC) advocacy organization which challenges companies that profit from people who are addicted to their products and or services.

My experience with acudetox therapy
I've experienced several acudetox treatments myself and felt immediate benefits with relaxation and better sleep. As a therapist I noticed that most of my patients also experienced a release of tension and feeling more relaxed, and most of them reported improved sleep. I highly recommend Warren's course. Acudetox is not only an effective treatment for recovery from addictions and managing cravings but has had a wonderful calming effect on my clients. Its effective in treating many other illnesses such as resolving general body pains, behavioural disorders such as depression, ADHD and general stress and anxiety. Acudetox
I am so happy that I chose this protocol. 5 little needles are changing so many peoples lifes. The training was easy and the info shared by Warren was more than expected. Results achieved are WOW! I am working with general detox / destress. I have clients who suffered from depression, bi-polar and multiple sclerosis... now they are living again. The symptoms and pain is so much better.
